Qi Gong and Yoga Classes


Qi Gong is a discipline originating from China, having surfaced around 2000 BCE, and is still used to rehabiltate a wide range of illnesses. 

Composed of many different practices and techniques to achive tranquity, Qi Gong promotes mental, physical, and spiritual health through five key principles: intentional movement, rhythmic breathing, awareness, visualization, and chanting. 

Originating from India some 5,000 years ago, Yoga is similar to Qi Gong in its spiritual goal to achieve tranquility. Literally meaning "to join" or "to unite", Yoga is a combination of meditation and physical exertion, with many poses including health benefits.
